Sou Fujimoto: Primitive Future

The "Contemporary Architect Concept Series" introduces the concepts of young architect who are constructing a different architectural thinking from the architectural principles of modernism and post-modernism that dominated the 20th century.
The first offering in this series looks at Sou Fujimoto. This is the first collected works of Sou Fujimoto who, while continually foreseeing standards for discovering new geometry, has created buildings while recalling primitive inquiries, such as "what is architecture?" and "what is dwelling?" A total 30 works are presented along with the architect's commentary, from his earliest period works to projects currently underway.
